The Carson Mansion

Eureka's Carson mansion is one of the most photographed Victorian homes in the United States.  It was built between 1884-1886 for lumber baron William H. Carson and was designed by renowned architects Samuel and Joseph Newsome.  The mansion was purchased by a local group of businessmen in 1950 for $35,000 and is now known as the Ingomar Club.
