(Including audition information)An Exciting new Collaboration at Blue Ox!Blue Ox has an exciting new venture in August 2009 as a collaborator with Cornerstone Theater Co., a Los Angeles-based theater company, that creates plays with and for communities nation wide. The company chooses a home base for their summer program, teaches around 20 students the Cornerstone method of acting, and then produces an original play with local participants about the community. This year the production “Golden Fleece, Jason in Eureka” will be held at Blue Ox Historic Park! The story follows a modern day young man on his search among the Victorian neighborhoods and eclectic communities of Eureka on his search for the fabled Golden Fleece. |

We are all excited to see how the play will incorporate the grounds at Blue Ox including the scow sloop the Corrina Bella, and the historic vessel, the Wannecomet.The theater company will be rehearsing at Blue Ox during the month of July culminating with public performances on August 6, 7 & 8, 2009.
